Founded by Chetsün Sengé Wangchuk. Probably seat of Geshé Dzarawa. Linked to Chegom Nakpo?
The hermitage of Dzara, which subsequently became a monastery, was probably, with the neighboring monastery of Dingma, one of the main places where the Vima Nyingtik termas were discovered.
